My doctoral research explores how center-right parties radicalize, especially in response to the influence of far-right parties. By examining coalition formation, competition, and indirect interactions, my work seeks to uncover the causal mechanisms driving these shifts and their impact on political positioning and policy platforms, specifically on sociocultural matters. Through qualitative case studies, I aim to provide a deeper understanding of these dynamics within the broader socio-political landscape of Europe.
